Lap Band System Is Recommended By FDA Advisory Committee

The FDA of Gastroenterology and Urology Devices Panel of the Medical Devices Advisory Committee has decided, after a study on 149 moderately obese patients, that the lap band safely use can be extended to BMI 30, without any other medical conditions besides the ones that are associated with obesity.
